Constant Firefighting🔥 🚿?

Have you ever finished a day's work and wondered how you got so distracted from your main objective? You head home feeling exhausted from resolving one issue after another and stressed from trying to respond to those urgent emails.

In our day-to-day lives, there are urgent matters that need immediate attention.  For example, a dispute with an employee or client, an accident, or a deadline-driven project.  Then, there are things that are important to do but not urgent or pressing, such as preventative measures, relationship building, future planning, and recognising new opportunities.

Many of us get trapped managing urgent matters that need immediate attention and have no time left to work on the important but not urgent tasks.  Spending all day fighting fires leads to stress, burn-out, and constant crisis management. Reclaiming time to work on important but not urgent tasks will allow us to have a clearer vision and more perspective, enjoy more balance, discipline, control, and fewer crises.

The ability to stop and assess how you react and where you spend your time can have a hugely positive impact on reaching your goals and feeling less overwhelmed day-to-day.

For many clients, having a Coaching session booked in the diary means they can take the time to step back and assess how things are going.  It gives them a chance to:

  • Discuss their current frustrations and struggles

  • Spend some time looking at the bigger picture

  • Analyse how effectively they are using their time

  • Examine if their reactions need adjusting

  • Get a different perspective

  • Receive honest feedback

  • Explore the best action steps and strategy for them

They come away with a realistic action plan and the accountability needed to ensure the plan is executed.

If you are ready to do less firefighting and want to take the first step towards a more balanced and fulfilling life, schedule your free Discovery call to get your  Coaching journey started.
